Carly Rae Jepsen Style

We are feeling Carly Rae Jepsen right now both musically and style wise. 'Call Me Maybe' is unbelievably catchy. We thought Carly was 18 or 19 but she is actually 26.

Her style is very eclectic and varied. She does boho, rock chick and girly styles. We especially like the fun she has with hats and shoes in her look.

Before we get to the fashion, check out her audition on Canadian Idol in 2007. She would eventually finish 3rd in the competition. The judging panel seem a bit unusual to us especially the dude with his feet on the table. She was 21 in this video.

Let's get to the fashion and Carly's signature items: hats and shoes.

Hats!
Carly's favourite hat is probably a floppy straw one and she has them in many colours.

Carly cleverly matches her hat and clothes to her amazing green eyes in the next two pics. It really gives her look a 'pop'.
She has fantastic hair too.

This is cute.

This look has the Taylor Swift vibe flowing through it.

Fab shirt and her colour matching is first class.

Candy floss time!

Shoes!

There is tremendous variety in Carly's footwear. Everything from tropical creepers,

To Doc Marten's
To wedges

To girly heels

The ankle socks are rocking in this outfit

Finally

Here's a track from her first album Tug of War

Kimbra From Gotye

Kimbra The Chameleon!

With her album due out this July it's time we take a closer look at Kimbra Johnson the girl who screams down poor Gotye's ear in worldwide hit Somebody That I Used To Know

Let him have it Kimbra!

What's especially interesting about Kiwi Kimbra is that before settling on her current 50s influenced image she tried an amazing variety of looks and styles. So many that we nickname her Kimbra The Chameleon!

Below are some of celebs that Kimbra's been channelling in her own funky way.

Katy Perry

Kimbra could pass for Katy in this shoot below. Such a good lookalike she could be the next Morganna Freeman V.I.P Impressionist

Katy's natural hair colour is our fave

Her love of bright colour and loud personality is referenced in Kimbra's video for Cameo Lover

Cameo Lover is about recovering from a broken heart and finding your way out of the darkness and back into the light and colour again.

Marina & The Diamonds

Marina's style is fun, colourful with a love of embellishment. Kimbra glams it up beautifully below.

Kimbra's Vibe

OMG! You look just like Shakira, no, no,
you're Catherine Zeta. Actually my name's Maria

Bjork

Bjork's infamous swan Oscar dress

Kimbra does not go THAT far but credits Bjork as a key inspiration

Such great detailing

Bjork's amazing hair is still setting trends

Kimbra's electro pink version

Christina Aguilera

Below Kimbra looks more Christina than Christina!

Mick Jagger

Kimbra's got his pout below

Not Harry Styles too?!

We hope we've proven she truly is Kimbra The Chameleon

Love Icona Pop!

Icona Pop - Tunes and Style

If you've seen our K-Pop blog then you will know we are really into electro pop right now. Swedish duo Icona Pop are our latest favorites.

We like song 'Nights Like This' the most.

Icona Pop members are Aino Jawa and Caroline Hjelt who formed the group in 2009. Their look has an big androgynous vibe but they do it with some girly style too.

Aino Jawo

Aino looks real different without that fringe

Feeling the neon make-up in Manners.

'I Love It' is a go crazy, jump around track

Their album is out later in the year. Can't wait!

Narzipan's Witch Style

Witchcraft!
We love witchcraft so much that we did a whole jewellery collection inspired by it!

We like all the interesting symbols from witchcraft and then add in religious references to make our jewellery unique.
Wishbone pendant
The four-crossed medal can be used as a brooch or necklace

The Blair Witch and her sticks and bones are an inspiration too

It's good to have some Narzipan crosses on standby if the witches gets out of hand

Narzipan cross ring
We used similar jewellery in our Enigma couture collection shoot.

Finally..

All Narzipan jewellery is hand made. If you would like us to make something personal for you so we can. We can also make you special editions of our jewellery, let you choose the metal we use and add gems like diamonds in. Whatever you like, just ask!

You'd have to be a numbskull to not want a little Narzipan bling
