Alexander McQueen s/s 2013

"Ain't being funny, I know another bee's been in your honey"
The creepy bee keeper veils are the give away for the inspiration of this McQueen s/s collection.
Bees, honey and honeycomb motifs dominated the designs and colour palette.
Not sure about the honeycomb mesh trousers although the tortoiseshell has echoes of Lee's snake prints but without the wow factor unfortunately.
You can clearly see Sarah Burton's more feminine touch in this silhouette below. It's nice, but in McQueen you should be fierce!
The stockings give this look below more potential, a bit more material to toughen it up would be wkd. It's as if you want the top to be armour and a sword to be in her hand ready to fight.
This one's really good. Love the shoulders on the jacket.
This look below is more Meadham Kirchoff than McQueen. Far too sweet.
Love this look though. Proper McQueen embellishment.
This one is glorious! Wonderful poppies and shoes.
This dress width is overdone.
It's unwearable like the a/w dresses below.
The dress making skill is amazing and all it needs is a more regal silhouette rather than the full on bridal gown.

Poor accessories.

Except for the shoes, they're cool.
The stockings are hot.

Finally
The breathtaking McQueen talent just needs more aggression and attitude. Get feisty!
