Joan Smalls is the world's Number 1 top model. She recently knocked Lara Stone off top spot on the Models.com rankings. Karlie Kloss below is ranked number 2.
The pair were interviewed by Sway at this years VMAs about their MTV series House of Style.
Joan has had an amazing year with everyone from Chanel, Givenchy, Estee Lauder, Fendi and Gucci hiring the stunning Puerto Rican. This is Joan for Jean Paul Gaultier.

Joan is 24 and has been modelling since 2007. She had been doing mainly catalogue work until Riccardo Tisci booked her exclusively for his Givenchy couture show in 2010.
Joan's nickname back home is Joanji. She models with great determination and attitude.
