Louise Gray Punk Princess

Scottish designer Louise Gray's collection for Topshop goes on sale 23rd August. She's famous for putting the colour and fun into London Fashion week with her optimistic designs, patterns and textures.
Louise is yet another genius to graduate from Central St Martins.
It's all about the clash with Louise.

Some of her punk influence comes from 80s punk star Zillah Minx. Nice interview in Dazed and Confused August btw.

Louise has become one of our most talked about designers in the space of only 9 seasons.
Are you a 'fan' of this hairstyle?
Louise is famous for her wonderful makeup style and jewellery.

These boots are a potential 'hazard'
She is favourably compared to Vivienne Westwood who once said "The Italians take cheap cloth and make it look expensive, and I take expensive cloth and make it look cheap. They just don't get what I'm trying to do."

Meadham Kirchoff Autumn Winter 2012

Meadham Kirchoff put the fun in the fashion. They followed the wonderful s/s 2012 Courtney Love tribute with this rainbow of colours for a/w 2012. A riot of prints, stripes and tartan.
It was party time on the catwalk as models danced to the pop tunes.

Lots of clashing colours in this unashamed love of popular culture.

Tinsel has never looked so stylish.

They are partial to a bit of glitter.
Have a peek at the video. They love grunge and are as inspired by music as much as fashion.

The design duo graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2002 and have been designing womenswear since 2006. A 70s disco vibe was updated to 2012 hotness.

A luxurious take on rebellious teenage fashion.

Cyndi Lauper inspired hair.

Make-up inspired by drag artists, Boy George and witches.
