Elle magazine has a great interview with Jennifer Lawrence in their US December edition. Here's some of the highlights.

First, the bad news! Although she is currently filming Catching Fire, the second part of the Hunger Games trilogy, that movie won't be in cinemas until November 2013. Maaaaaaan!

Director Gary Ross on Katniss's qualities "inner strength, independence, protectiveness and vulnerability." That's our Jen.

The Hunger Games took $685 million at the box office.

She's the second youngest woman ever to be nominated for a best actress Oscar.

Her fee for Catching Fire is $10 million. The third book will be split into two movies.

She auditioned for Silver Linings playbook via Skype.

"Oh my God" Producer Harvey Weinstein comments after watching just one minute of that amazing audition.
