Lily Mcmenamy Model

The Lily Mcmenamy Career Plan
1) Ditch boyfriend
2) Move to Paris
3) Plan to become a waitress
4) Roll eyes. Ditch that plan get signed by Next Paris Agency
5) Walk for Saint Laurent in a matter of days!

It's not all plain sailing for our Lily though. Marc Jacobs wouldn't even give her a top to wear on his fall 2013 catwalk.
Then he cast her as a prostitute for Louis Vuitton.
Marc, you have a one-track mind my dear.

Lily's unusual features are a major strength and give her so much character but we noticed some really hurtful comments on tumblr.
Her lopsided mouth and striking nose are seized on by critics who like all models to fit a certain prototype.
We love her quirkiness! It reminds us of Daphne Groeneveld.

For us, one of Lily's best shoots so far is the Jalouse magazine one by Jean-Baptiste Mondino.
'Lily The Strange' is a homage to Emily The Strange with the styling and colour choices.
The looks and choice of clothes are really top notch.

Glamourous, yet really wearable.
Lily is 19 years old and was brought up in London.
She has the same energetic, fun partying attitude of Cara Delevingne except she likes to party in Paris.
Make-up and lipstick contracts are surely just a matter of time for those lush lips.

There is a fab shoot and interview in i-D magazine's latest issue.

Lily comes across as fun in i-D's mini clip.

Alice Dellal grungy tone in this one.

Gothic for Saint Laurent.
Love magazine equals wow hair day.
Heart dem lashes.

Lovely in Louis Vuitton.

Finally
Lily's on top form in Purple Magazine's Spring issue.

Spring Trend Stripes Marc Jacobs s/s 2013

Marc Jacobs s/s 2013 collection had a 60s vibe big on stripes and monochrome too. Playing with stripes, twirling them and slimming them to make them visually stunning. Marc has come up with sexy silhouettes and looks with impact.
Edie Sedgwick's inspiration as a muse is dominant throughout.

I really like the candy stripes. Super kwl to be seen in these.

These dresses had a jellyfish/octopuss tentacles floating vibe.

Jonathan Saunders paired the stripes with another spring trend metallics.
A real sunshine partying vibe in these quirky colours.

Dolce & Gabbana added scarves to the mix.
These relaxed looks are fresh yet classy.
Check the kitsch earrings.
