Fendi Spring 2013

Our jaws dropped when we seen this Fendi collection at Milan Fashion Week. This has to be Karl Lagerfeld's best collection for them by a mile.
We'd seen Fendi's black leather and baguette handbags adverts many times but this was a big step up in excitement and brilliant colours.
Sleek, modern and as Lagerfeld called the colours "violent pastels" finally made minimalism covetable.
Joan Smalls led the way in this ultra modern chic parade.
Anna Della Russo wore this dress just days later.

Jeneil Williams crocodile style jacket.
Fendi started in Rome in 1925 and is now owned by Louis Vuitton.
Mixed skirt lengths cleverly draw your eyes in.

The coloured panels give a cool 3D effect.

How soft does this leather look?!

Minimalism to the max!
Geometric and 3D prints were also a highlight.

Brilliant bangles and wow clutches.

Tote & Clutch Combo.

Furry dice indeed.

Sci-fi shades.
Futuristic Footwear
Metallic and geometric.
A real scuptural influence in these shoes. Sculptor Anish Kapoor was one reference.

Finally
Karl Lagerfeld and Sivia Venturini Fendi are geniuses. Take a bow!

Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2012

Shops are starting to get their autumn clothes drop in now and as always it's McQueen that we are most excited about. Sarah Burton unleashed this amazing collection back in March in Paris.
Sarah Burton stated that mushrooms were a key inspiration in the collection. We think it has a pom pom and poodle vibe too.
Paula Reed of Grazia magazine made a fair point that the collection could have been made more wearable for everyday life. This is something that Valentino has done so brilliantly recently.

This is our favourite dress in the collection. You can see the awesome talent of McQueen's couture team.

The shoes worked best here too.

The raspberry colour was a winner, incredibly vibrant.
Something has gone wrong in the shoe department though. Not feeling these.

Sarah has beautifully added a more feminine touch and look to McQueen's style but you still need an edge, a fetish or aggression to 'wow' people.

Shoes like these!

We are not sure about the visor look either.

It's evocative of Kylie Minogue and Lady Gaga but maybe a little dated?

We prefer make-up to visors

Or jewellery

These 2012 a/w accessories do wow though.
